“The task was to create a personal interpretation of the ever relevant plywood chair. I wanted my chair to have an unobtrusive and timeless nature that is familiar but never boring and without sacrificing function or ergonomics. Designing a family of chairs, visually related but for different functions, was an interactive and thorough process lasting nearly two years. In the end, I think every detail is exactly as it is supposed to be.” – designer Mika Tolvanen

Upholstered version: The shell is made from form-pressed ash veneer with foam and fully upholstered with high-quality textile.
Wood Base in form-pressed ash veneer with water-based lacquer. Please note: slight colour variations can occur due to the material’s inherent characteristics.

Cleaning instructions:

Wood base: Clean regularly using a damp and clean cloth. Spilling should immediately be removed to avoid discoloring. Remove stains using a mild mixture of water and detergent. Avoid contact with sharp objects, as these can leave scratches in the wood and lacquer.

For textile upholstered versions: In case of stains, we generally recommend removing non-greasy stains by carefully dabbing them with a lint-free cloth or sponge wrung out in clean, warm water. Clean by dabbing with soapy water made with a bit of dish soap if necessary. Finally, dab the surface with clean water.
